A/Prof Michael  Kilborn

Associate Professor Michael  Kilborn is the Director of RPA's Electrophysiology department which specialises in heart rhythm disorders. He completed his PhD and then undertook a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology in the USA.

Prof Kilborn admits patients to RPA Hospital, where he performs cardiac ablations and runs the Defibrillator Clinic. A/Prof Kilborn also evaluates patients with cardiac electrical problems and defibrillators at Alfred Cardiology. He also performs complex electrical testing at the Mater Hospital.

He has authored numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts in the areas of inherited arrhythmia syndromes, ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, as well as testing of cardiac implantable devices.
